John Street Pump Station

John W. Danforth Company completed upgrades to John Street pump station in a five-month period while the entire plant was being bypassed.

The Sewage Pumping Station on John Street in Henrietta, New York, is a significant, 4,000 square foot facility, pumping 376,000 gallons per day. Danforth joined forces with Crane Hogan Structural Systems to get the job done.

With the aid of sophisticated CADD system, Danforth was able to completely replace all mechanical equipment including: sewage pumps, an odor control system, hydraulic grinder, flow metering, variable frequency drives, sump pumps, surge relief and sewage air relief valves. All of this was in addition to new plumbing to complete the project.
