Unifrax
Unifrax Corporation is a leading producer of high temperature insulation products for a wide variety of industrial applications. When Unifrax needed to improve the air quality in the Manufacturing Area of their Sanborn location, they called on John W. Danforth Company for a solution.
Danforth collaborated with the Unifrax Engineering Department to design an effective exhaust and makeup air system. The Danforth professionals removed existing equipment, and installed new fiberglass fans, louvers, and hoods. The system was controlled with variable frequency drives to maintain building pressure.
Upon completion of this project, fumes were reduced to negligible levels, as measured by the satisfied customer.
