John W Danforth Promotes Liddle, Julian and Carrow
Danforth is pleased to announce the promotions of Don Liddle to Director of Finance & IT, Jamie Julian to Corporate Controller, and Andrew Carrow to IT Manager. Please join us in congratulating them and supporting them in their new roles.
Prior to joining Danforth in 2015 as Corporate Controller, Don held various financial & operational positions specializing in financial management, strategic planning, process improvement and staff development. He has served in the manufacturing & construction industries both domestic and internationally. Don is a graduate of Canisius College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a minor in Information Technology.
During the last 4 years, Don has helped to create a more collaborative environment within the Accounting department as well as among our Accounting, Operations and Acquisition teams. Don has worked diligently to streamline processes and create or improve tools to help manage our business more efficiently. In his new role, Don will work closely with our IT team to help guide their career development, lead strategic IT initiatives and create a stronger IT infrastructure. Don will also be responsible for many high level management responsibilities in our Finance and Accounting departments.
Jamie joined Danforth in 2009 as an Accounting Associate after gaining 5 years of valuable experience with our long-time strategic accounting partner, Gaines Kriner Elliott LLP (now The Bonadio Group). Jamie’s work on the external Danforth audit team made her realize that she wanted to be part this great organization. Jamie is a graduate of Daemen College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
Through initiative and hard work, Jamie quickly worked her way to Senior Accountant and then Assistant Controller in 2013. This promotion recognizes the tremendous support and stability that Jamie has provided to Danforth and the Accounting team over the past 10 years of continued growth. In her new role as Corporate Controller, Jamie’s primary responsibilities are to lead the Accounting department, provide timely financial information, and support our Operations, Acquisition and Executive teams along with focusing on the team’s growth and career development.
Andrew joined Danforth in 2010 as an intern, managing Danforth’s websites and supporting the JD Supply Filter Division. In 2017, his passion and drive towards continual improvement earned him a position in the IT Department where his initial focus was on building our new website, IT Helpdesk support and managing various other IT projects. Shortly thereafter, it became clear that Andy had the desire and capabilities to grow within our IT Department and help to make us better.
This promotion recognizes the hard work, dedication and contributions Andy has made to Danforth during his career along with the industry leading experiences he has helped deliver to our internal customers. In his new role, Andy will focus on the management of Danforth’s IT infrastructure, strategic projects and continue the development of the IT Team with a focus on operational efficiency.
