Power of our People Award Presented to Albany Employees
Rob Boswell, Jeremy Hart, Joshua Cleveland and Aaron Herbert from Danforth’s Albany office are the latest recipients of the Power of our People Award. Boswell, Hart, Cleveland and Herbert were nominated by Senior Project Manager, Eric Chapin for helping a veteran in need. Last winter, LeRoy, a local veteran, had flex duct work under his mobile home that had collapsed and left him without heat. A temporary band-aid was put in place for the duct work until the weather improved. A call to action took place and that is when Boswell, Hart, Cleveland and Herbert permanently fixed LeRoy’s duct work, donating materials and labor for the job. The Malta Veterans Appreciation Program and LeRoy were so grateful for the assistance that Boswell, Hart, Cleveland and Herbert provided in this time of need.
This action from Boswell, Hart, Cleveland and Herbert supports one of Danforth’s Key Strategies – community engagement. Their action to help a veteran in need truly signifies Danforth’s vision of building meaningful relationships by paying it forward to help others.
About the Power of Our People Award
Danforth has been an industry leader since 1884. We have strategically invested in physical assets such as office space across New York State, over 100,000 square feet of fabrication space, a large vehicle fleet and state-of-the-art tools to deliver the highest quality projects to our customers.
Our most important asset is our people.
The Power of our People Award is given to those who go beyond the call of duty day-in and day-out. Without our people and their commitment to excellence, Danforth would not be a class contractor that it is known as in the market. At Danforth, we believe in the Power of Our People and recognizing our employees for their hard work and dedication. We are committed to investing in our employees to develop them professionally and personally so that the legacy of our founder, John W. Danforth, will live on.
