1897 – John W. Danforth Company is Incorporated and moves into Ellicott Street location in Buffalo, NY

1889 – Danforth becomes a member of the Master Steam and Hot Water Fitters Association

1911 – Loring Danforth becomes the company’s leader

1917 – United States enters WWI; Danforth serves as general contractor for the US Navy Bureau of Docks and Yards

1936 – Leo Hopkins and Albert Wood acquires Danforth

1940 – Danforth constructs aircraft-manufacturing plants to aid the United States in WWII

1946 – Danforth opens branch office in Niagara Falls, NY

1959 – Danforth moves headquarters to 1940 Fillmore Avenue in Buffalo, NY

1964 – L. Nelson Hopkins becomes Danforth’s President

1967 – Danforth begins providing state-of-the-art Cleanroom construction services

1978 – Wayne Reilly becomes Danforth’s President
