LP Ciminelli Mechanical Contract

Danforth was awarded the mechanical contract for renovations to be done on the LP Ciminelli offices located in Buffalo, NY. The goal of the project was to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certification.

Renovation work included the installation of a state of the art variable refrigeration system which was able to provide both the heating and cooling for the entire building. Additionally, we installed a new plumbing system which included both low water consumption fixtures as well as high efficiency boilers.

This project brought many of Danforth’s capabilities to bear. Danforth was able to work directly with the owner on this project which required innovative design, CADD coordination, refrigeration service and balancing. Our commissioning process began at project inception and continued through completion of the project.

Danforth followed the LEED Green building guidelines throughout the project, and LEED Certification was achieved. This serves as another example of Danforth’s team approach to complex projects.
